Adjusted earnings and revenue exceeded expectations and the company’s fiscal second-quarter guidance beat analysts’ estimates. Shares climbed 10% to $31.53 premarket.

  Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) manufactures chips that enable wireless connectivity, therefore, the company has got huge market to be addressed in the future as the consumption of data is expected to multiply. Skyworks is performing brilliantly this year with shares appreciating more than 45%. The company has also gained smartly from its supplier relationships with Apple (AAPL) and Samsung. That poses a big threat to competitors Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ: SWKS  ) and RF Micro Devices (NASDAQ: RFMD  ) as well as Avago, because if Qualcomm is able to integrate components that Skyworks, RF, and Avago currently sell separately, then it could lead to a huge loss in revenue for all three component-makers.
